This is a fun and interesting Zinfandel wine that costs only about $500. The wine is very friendly and matches nicely with Asian cuisine, especially spicy foods.
This is an easy-drinking, medium bodied wine. Like most Zinfandel wines it has a characteristic spicy flavor that balanced by the wine’s abundant friendly fruit flavors. If you want a red wine that's not to tannic, this is a good choice. 1997 was an excellent vintage for all California wines. This wine goes well with classic American dishes like Roasted Turkey, BBQ Ribs and also spicy Asian dishes like Korean BBQ. It is one of the very few red wines that can be enjoyed with Ma-La Hot Pot! Serve this wine slightly chilled, about 16℃.
