Modavi's Napa, Cabernet Sauvignon, 1998 is an excellent wine. The skill of Mondavi in combining the power of California grown Cabernet Sauvignon fruit with Bordeaux elegance and style is apparent in this wine. This medium to heavy bodied wine has a deep mohangany red color. Blackberry, plums and even cocoa flavors are nicely balanced with well-structure tannins. The wine is full and round in the mouth and has a good finish. Match this wine with Grilled T-Bone Steak, Braised Duck or Roasted Stuff Turkey. This wine is also very nice with Teppanyaki style steaks.
