First released several years ago to produce a mid-range red, this is a smooth, medium-bodied red wine with a dark red-purple color, black berry nose and plum, cassis, chocolate and spices flavors; a well-balanced international style wine with gentle tannins; established in 1844, Penfolds is Australia's most famous red wine producer.
Serve at 18℃; this wine is suitable with most meat dishes including Shanghai pork dishes and northern Chinese roasted meats.
Light oak aging.
