Made from three grapes traditionally associated with the Rhone Valley (Grenache, Shiraz & Mourvedre), this full-bodied blended wine is a fun drinking experience. The wine has a deep purple almost brooding color. The bouquet needs a good 15 minutes in the glass to start offering its spicy fruit scents. The ripe fruit, chocolate, tobacco and oak flavors (the wine spends 15 months in American oak) and well-structured tannins combine to make a distinctive drinking experience. This wine is a good match with grilled meats and slightly spicy meat dishes like General Tso's Chicken (宫宝鸡丁) and Double Cooked Pork (回锅肉). Serve at 18℃.
