The best of the Lindemans Bin series red wines, this is a very well made, reasonably priced red wine suitable for daily drinking; the wine has a medium-dark purple color, fruity nose and nice dark fruit and spice flavors; the wine is admirably round and smooth in the mouth and has a decently long finish; established in 1843, Lindemans is one of Australia's oldest and largest producers.
Allow 20 minutes for breathing and serve at 16˚C; match with a wide variety of meat dishes including meat pastas and pizzas as well as slightly spicy Chinese meat dishes like Szechuan Style Twice Sauteed Pork.
Portions of this wine were matured in a combination of French and American oak.
Drinking nicely now and can be cellared for another 3 years.
