Sourced from the local cooperative in the village of Beaumes de Venise, this excellent sweet wine has a honey-yellow color, vibrant aromas of marmalade, apricots and peaches and concentrated flavors of peaches with a hint of flowers and good acidity that keeps the wine quite fresh; the wine's finish is quite persistent; match with French tarts, ripe fruits and sweet cakes; in the 1970s, Paul Jaboulet Aine played an important role in lifting the image of the Rhone Valley as a producer of great wines; after a dry spell in the 1990s, this large firm is now back on track.
