Impressive Southern Rhone red wine with a purple color and reddish rim, dark berries and ripe plum nose with a touch of oak scent and concentrated dark fruit and black pepper flavors and a smooth and spicy finish that's typical of a very good Gigondas; established in 1936, Gabriel Meffre is the biggest producer in the Southern Rhone with a wide portfolio of wines that have been getting progressively better.
Serve at 16 - 18℃; the wine matches well with hearty BBQ meats, rich meat stews and flavorful cheese.
