Super Shiraz from Australia, this wine has a deep purple-garnet red color, lively nose of dark fruit, cocoa and spices and concentrated flavors of black fruit, spices and a subtle nuance of oak; this is a big, smooth wine with excellent weight in the mouth; open at least one hour before drinking and serve with hearty meat dishes including roasted leg of lamb, roasted pork in dark sauce and BBQ meats; established in 1838 by John Reynell and since 1982 owned by Thomas Hardy & Sons, Chateau Reynella is one of South Australia's oldest and best premium wine producers.
