The reserve level wine from Chateau de Paranchere, this is a modern style wine with a dark purple red color, ripe dark fruit nose with a touch of spices and very concentrated almost sweet plum, blackberry and oak flavors and soft round tannins.
Allow 30 minutes for breathing and serve at 18˚C; the ripeness of this wine make it suitable for slightly spicy or sweet food including BBQ meat with a sweet and sour sauce; the wine also matches well with some high quality chocolates.
18 months in French oak.
Drinking nicely now and can be cellared for 10+ years.
