Normally it is smart to avoid Bordeaux wines from the fair-poor 2002 vintage, but this elegant, medium bodied wine is and exception; the wine has a garnet-brick red color, lovely ripe red berry and dark fruit aromas and pleasant black berry and vanilla flavors with a velvety smooth tannic finish.
Allow at least 20 minutes for breathing & serve at 18℃; this is an elegant, not very powerful wine that is best enjoyed with lighter meat dishes like Roasted Pork, Chicken or veal as well as welltextured Cantonese meat dishes like Crispy Skin Chicken and Roasted Suckling Pig.
12∼15 months in 50% new oak.
Ths wine is best enjoyed now or within the next 2∼3 years.
