Benchmark red wine from Napa Valley, this wine deliveries an intense Napa red wine experience at a very reasonable price; the wine features a deep purple-red color, pungent aromas of black berries and cocoa and concentrated ripe dark fruit, leather and oak flavors with a long, softly tannic finish.
Youthful wine that needs at least 30 minutes to breathe, serve at 18℃; lovely with many types of red meat and fowl, synergy is achieved with roasted duck, either western or Beijing style, and leg or rack of lamb.
18 months in American and French oak.
Approachable now, but will gain added complexity over next 3~5 years and can be cellared for a decade.
