Expressive Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon wine from Emilia Romagna, the wine features a beautiful dark cherry red color, elegant red fruit and violet nose and lively red and dark fruit flavors with gentle tannins and a smooth finish; the wine has been aged 24 months in Slavonia and Allier oak providing pleasant but not overwhelming oak and vanilla tastes; match with meat pastas or roasted fowl; since 1965, Umberto Cesari has built an excellent reputation for organically produced wines that are available at reasonable prices.
