Elegant and balanced red wine from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Vergelesses, this wine has an attractive ruby red color, ripe red fruit and oak nose and nice typical Pinot Noir fruit flavors with a long and elegant finish; the wine is not overpowering, but complex and stylish and an excellent value for a Premier Cru; match with roasted chicken in morel cream sauce or refined Cantonese and Taiwan meat dishes; founded in 1750, Domaine Chanson is a respected large grower-negotiant with a long history ~ now owned by the Champagne house Bollinger.
