From the good 2001 vintage, this is a classic, elegant Margaux style wine with deep ruby-garnet red color, ripe blackberry and cherry nose with touch of oak and concentrated dark fruit, coffee and spice flavors and long and smooth tannic finish.
Allow at least 30 minutes breathing & serve at 18℃; this medium to full body wine is best with simply prepared red meats like Prime Steaks, Roasted Leg of Lamb and is also excellent with high-quality beef prepared by Teppanyaki style.
Over 12 months in 30% new oak.
Pleasant now, the wine will benefit from another 3∼5 years in the bottle and properly cellared can be enjoyed over the next 10 years.
