Excellent Cru Bourgeois from the very hot and ripe 2003 vintage this wine has a deep red-purple color, aromatic nose of ripe black cherries and oak and concentrated dark and red fruit flavors with a long smooth tannic finish.
Allow at least 40 minutes for breathing and serve at 18˚C; pair with lamb chops, steaks and roasted fowl as well as Cantonese Style Roasted Pigeon.
18 months in French oak.
Drinking very nicely now and can be kept for over a decade.
